Why do we see a random number on television???
So this number is here for anti piracy
This number is a unique number by which your broadcaster can trace your address. Like some people use to live telecast some TV shows so to recognise them and to take action they need some unique identity to recognise you.
Let us suppose I want to play live telecast of cricket match on YouTube channel through tv so your broadcaster put some random number on your television so that they can trace me like in case of my YouTube video they will note the number and by their database they will trace my set top box location and will take action.
